Every 2 years the Museo diocesano di Padova organizes an international exhibition of illustration «I Colori di Sacro» with illustrators from all around the world. The theme this year is «Around the table».
The title of the image is «Initche» which means Thank you in Bambara language.
During my travel in Mali, I could eat several times a day as when I arrived in a house I couldn’t refuse the invitation to eat. Seating in the floor around one dish is sharing an intimate moment, you can learn about someone observing the way he takes the rice and make the ball before eating it.
The image was chosen for the poster of the exhibition, but changing the color for the background.
